Having a work space that you enjoy working in will have a direct impact on your work output and quality. We know productivity can be affected in many ways. In my opinion, one of the biggest influences on our work and productivity is the space in which we work. Whether your work space is overlooking a beach, a small 3×3 cubical or an ultra modern open plan high-rise, there needs to be one common factor … you need to like it! Enjoying the space where you work doesn’t mean you need to be in fairyland all day. You just need to find your working environment a pleasant and...

The title of this post isn’t really very descriptive but I just wanted to give and overview of Central Coast web design and the quality of work that is being output by the web design companies that are based there. The standard of web design on the Central Coast is higher now that it ever has been. The web design companies who are based on the Central Coast have taken their quality of work to the next level and are growing and improving at a phenomenal rate.
A few years ago Central Coast web design seemed to be behind other areas and the quality just wasn’t as high as the likes...

Web Design has been a very popular profession to take up the last 10 years in Sydney. After the internet boom people caught on to the fact that the internet was here to stay and it can be a very lucrative industry. There are more and more web designers in Sydney popping up all of the time and it is getting increasingly harder for companies to find the right Sydney web designer for their project, and for Sydney web designers to find a good web design company to work for.
Web design is a very popular field to study and the courses that teach web design, web development, online media and anything...

Internet Explorer 6 … The name sends shivers down web designers spines. The question is why do we keep pandering to the needs of an out of date browser that is almost 10 years old! Many people probably don’t know how old IE6 actually is, here is a list of things that IE6 is older than.
Windows XP
Facebook
Myspace
Google Adsense
iPod
Original XBox
Canon Digital SLR Cameras
The War in Iraq
East Timor
The list can go on forever…
Here I have collated some great sites that support the cause to put IE6 out of its misery.

Recently I went through the process of leaving my full-time job to take up part-time work. One of the main reasons for doing so was to broaden my skills and gather more experience in the Graphic and Web Design industry.
In the industry of graphic design and web design our past experience and work variety is everything. When going for a job, it’s your portfolio and having a broad range of design styles that makes you stand out as a unique designer. You must have a good variety of portfolio samples and have worked on many different jobs to really be experienced.
The reason I left my full-time...

We all know that to have a productive and successful life we must balance work, rest and play. But what about exercise?
Exercise is also a key element in maintaining your life balance. I’m not talking about running a marathon every week I’m just saying do some small things to help balance out your hectic life. Its so easy to get stuck in a rut as far as exercise goes … I’m guilty of it. We tend to focus on money, work, bills and a myriad of other intrusions that distract us from one of, if not the most important factor … our health.
Keeping healthy will reflect in...

So you have stumbled across my blog and now you thinking … who is this guy Justin Roberts?
Well, I’m Justin Roberts and I’d like to say a big hello and thanks for visiting my blog. I’m a web designer and budding entrepreneur and have recently given myself a personal goal to make my name known in the web design and development industry in Australia within five years.
